Donald B. Regan

Donald B. Regan is founder and Chairman of Premier Bank, Premier Bank Minnesota, and Premier Bank Rochester, three bank charters that embody the family of 19 Premier Bank branches statewide. Born and raised in LeRoy, Minnesota, and owner/operator of a Ford Dealership at a young age, Mr. Regan has been involved in the school and charter bus industry, golf course development, and commercial real estate. Don has been a banker for more than 40 years and is very involved in his church and supportive of many community initiatives. Don and his wife Jean have seven children, more than 30 grandchildren and great grandchildren, and have lived in North St. Paul, Minnesota for over 55 years.

Mark E. Novitzki

Mark E. Novitzki is President and CEO of Premier Bank and has been with the organization for over 30 years. Mark has a diverse loan portfolio, specializing in manufacturing, land development, and construction financing. Mark and his family live in New Brighton, Minnesota, and he offices out of the Maplewood Headquarters. Originally from Farmington, Minnesota and a graduate of Notre Dame, Mark has banking in his blood. “My father, a banker in Farmington for 42 years, taught me the value of hard work. I have grown up with Premier Banks, where a strong work ethic has afforded the bank strong growth from within. This sets our bank apart.”

Casey O. Regan

Casey O. Regan is President and CEO of Premier Bank Minnesota. In 2002, Casey joined Premier Banks in the summer internship program and became a full-time employee upon graduation from the University of St. Thomas in 2004. In the ensuing years, he has been a management trainee, loan officer, and bank manager. In January 2007, he was appointed Premier Bank Hastings President. In October 2010, he was promoted to the Presidency of the South Area of Premier Bank Minnesota. Casey assumed the role of President and CEO in March 2012. Casey and his family live in Maplewood, Minnesota.

Corey R. Heimer

Corey R. Heimer is President and CEO of Premier Bank Rochester. He joined Premier Bank’s Maplewood Office in 2004 and then transferred to Rochester, Minnesota in April 2005. Prior to joining Premier Banks, Corey was employed at the University of St. Thomas for five years as the Assistant Director of Admissions. Corey and his family live in Byron, Minnesota. Corey is a leader with a strong work ethic and enjoys being involved in the community. Corey is an Adams, Minnesota native and a graduate of St. Thomas.

Jeffrey D. Hatton

Jeffrey D. Hatton is Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer for Premier Banks. Jeff started his career with Premier Banks in 1990 as a management trainee. His lending and operational experience resulted in his promotion to COO in 2005. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas, Jeff and his family live in Bloomington.

Joseph B. Houle

After graduation from the University of St. Thomas, Joseph B. Houle started his banking career with Premier Bank in 2006, as a management trainee. Joe then gravitated toward lending. His current emphasis is on small business lending and has experience with the various SBA programs available. In 2011, Joe was promoted to President of Premier’s Hugo branch. He enjoys working in the small growing community of Hugo where his family has strong historical ties. He is a part of various civic organizations, including sitting on Hugo’s Economic Development Authority. Joe’s key to success is focusing on meeting customers’ goals.

David J. Howe is the CFO of all Premier Bank charters and President of the Monticello branch. Dave has been with the bank since 2002, after accumulating over 25 years of experience in the banking and public accounting industries. Dave grew up in Bemidji, Minnesota, graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and currently lives in Monticello, Minnesota.

Penny J. Hults

Penny J. Hults, manager of Cash Management Services, began her banking career at Premier Banks in 1988. Penny is originally from South Dakota, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education. Penny was recognized as a 2014 Top Woman in Finance by Finance and Commerce Magazine. Penny and her family live in Oakdale, Minnesota, where she is involved in the music and children’s ministry at her church, as well as with the Tanzanian Mission Group.

Thomas J. Kern

Thomas J. Kern is the President of Premier Banks Northwest Area and offices out of the Osseo branch. He has been in the banking industry for more than 30 years and with Premier Bank since 1998. Tom grew up in Hibbing Minnesota and currently resides in Maple Grove. Tom has been involved in the Community Youth Hockey Organization, the Maple Grove Lions Club, and the District 279 Foundation. He enjoys offering his clients modern financial business solutions without sacrificing the small town and personalized service he brings from growing up on the Range. Tom and his wife enjoy spending time with family that often includes travel with two grown children and family back home.

Andrew D. Nath

Andrew D. Nath is the Executive Vice President of Premier Bank and has worked for Premier Banks since 1993. Andrew was born and raised on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, his master’s degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, and attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Andrew serves on the corporate boards of the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis and the St. Paul Seminary. He has also served on various boards of local business organizations. Andrew specializes in commercial, non-profit, real estate, and hotel lending.

Kelly J. Regan

Kelly J. Regan is a Premier Bank Director and Vice President of marketing. Educated at St. Mary’s of Notre Dame, the University of San Diego, and with post graduate studies at the U.S. International University and The National Autonomous University of Mexico, Kelly lived 17 years in Mexico City, where she raised a family of three and operated a family business. After five years in sales and marketing for a Latin American Division of Conagra, Kelly returned to Minnesota as an international trade consultant and joined Premier in 2000. Passionate about education for at-risk youth, Kelly volunteers at Academia Cesar Chavez, serves on the boards of Risen Christ Catholic School, the Minnesota Independent School Forum and the First Generation Initiative at the University of St. Mary's of Minnesota.Kelly is on the Services and Education Committees for the Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota and was named Top Woman in Finance by Twin Cities Business Magazine in 2012. She enjoys golf, skiing, literature, and travel, especially to spend time with her family.

Sean O. Regan

Sean O. Regan Vice Chairman, has been with Premier Bank since 1987. He was educated at Notre Dame, the University of Minnesota, and at the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking. Among other duties as assigned, Sean works as a commercial lender officing out of Roseville, serving business principals and investors with commercial borrowing needs and strategic business planning. His experience as an investor in Commercial Real Estate and other family businesses make him uniquely qualified to work with family businesses in growth modes or in transition. Sean is on the board of the Catholic Community Foundation, is a member and past President of the Roseville Lions, and is active in many church and neighborhood youth athletic support roles in the Macalester Groveland area of St. Paul, Minnesota, where he lives with his wife Mary and their three children.

Michael R. Ruether

Michael R. Ruether is President of Premier Bank White Bear Lake, is a director for Premier Bank, and has been employed with Premier Banks for over 35 years. Mike and his wife Julie live in Shoreview, Minnesota and have 4 sons. He is originally from St. Cloud and graduated from St. John’s University. Mike specializes primarily in commercial and real estate loans. He has been very active in the community, with past roles as the Director for the White Bear Lake Chamber, President and Treasurer for the White Bear Lake Optimist Club, and Treasurer and Director for the White Bear Lake Main Street organization. Mike is currently a director for the White Bear Lake Food Shelf and the White Bear Lake Economic Development Corporation.
